Special Storytime: Jerrard K. Polk

In celebration of Black Music Month, special guest and illustrator Jerrard K. Polk will connect kids to the instruments and musical flair of jazz using samples of art from his book, A Child’s Introduction to Jazz: The Musicians, Culture, and Roots of the World’s Coolest Music, written by Jabari Asim. He will also show how he creates his illustrations. You won’t want to miss this fun and interactive program!
