Beyond the Spectrum Teens

About Beyond the Spectrum Teens

This Program follows kids on the Autism Spectrum to the adventurous art world. Next April 20, the Musical Masterpieces Class welcomes teens between 13 and 18 years old to this engaging experience where they can explore the different connections between music and visual arts at the Museum of Fine Arts. Let the teens immerse themselves in the captivating and vibrant world of musical masterpieces at the Museum Collection, while discovering how melodies, rhythms, and emotions inspire visual expressions. The class focuses on uncovering the fascinating interplay between music and visual art, through observation and analysis.
The idea is to give them a safe space to free their creativity after an inspiring visit to the museum and create their own musical masterpieces. Various artistic techniques and materials will be used, so everyone can bring their interpretation of music to life. The class focuses on allowing children to express their artistic side and fostering a deeper connection between music and visual art, understanding its profound relationship.

Childhood is that life stage in which many people find their true passion, or simply a lifetime hobby or a favorite activity to spend their time. If your kids are following Picassos’ steps, or just love to create and draw, you will love this list.
For those mini artists out there, there are many places in Boston where they can enjoy art activities and get creative! It won’t matter if it’s raining, snowing, or too hot to be outside, these Arts and Crafts Spots for Kids in Boston will always be a great idea!
