Generational Storytelling: Oral History for Kids and Their Loved Ones

About Generational Storytelling: Oral History for Kids and Their Loved Ones

During this introduction to oral history and community storytelling for all ages, kids and their adults will be introduced to the concept of oral history as a tool for recording personal experiences, participate in activities to practice good interview techniques, and create a short sample of an oral history together. Share memories across the generations and take home a piece of history at the end of this workshop!

In these kid-friendly museums, kids will see and learn about history, dinosaurs, art, and many more interesting things that both kids and adults will enjoy!
There are many Kid-Friendly Museums in and around Boston that offer plenty of exhibits and programs for kids and families. Children will not spend a minute bored in any of these places where they can learn about art, nature, history, and so much more!
