About Franklin Park Zoo

Franklin Park Zoo is a 72-acre site nestled in Boston’s historic Franklin Park. This amazing home to thousands of animals is a great option to visit with the entire family at any time of the year.
You will find an interactive children’s zoo, exhibits about all the major animals, and more! You can even take a walk around the 10,000 square-foot playground!
Franklin Park Zoo also offers an exciting array of programs to school groups, nursing home residents, college students, and children in after-school programs! Kids will learn all about the wonders of the natural world with experienced educators, they can even attend a summer camp. The zoo also offers adult lectures, overnight programs, and teacher workshops so that everyone can have a learning opportunity!
