About Newton Free Library

Newton Free Library is a public library. The Children’s Department is a great place to visit with the entire family, as it promotes a life-long love of reading through innovative programs and an awesome and high-quality collection. Kids 0-8 years old can enjoy the couches and the extensive collection of children’s movies and music. There’s also a section for older kids where they can do their homework in quiet study spaces.
Kids can enjoy the amazing children’s department at the Newton Free Library, as well as it collections, events, and programs including the Read to a Dog at the Library, in which kids can sign up for slots to read to the library’s furry friend!
