Sensory Friendly Morning at MIT Museum

About Sensory Friendly Morning at MIT Museum

During this special morning, the MIT Museum will offer a sensory-friendly time.
The 3rd floor galleries will have a limited number of visitors, as the museum will open an hour earlier especially for this event.
Ambient noise will be reduced during this time, creating a calm space, and there will also be sensory maps and a social story available to help guide you. The museum staff will be there to answer questions and to lead special drop-in activities.

In these kid-friendly museums, kids will see and learn about history, dinosaurs, art, and many more interesting things that both kids and adults will enjoy!
There are many Kid-Friendly Museums in and around Boston that offer plenty of exhibits and programs for kids and families. Children will not spend a minute bored in any of these places where they can learn about art, nature, history, and so much more!
