About MIT Museum

At the MIT Museum, you will discover innovation, invention, and ideas that have changed the world.
The whole family can go on an adventure of research and innovation through the MIT Museum’s galleries, demos, exhibitions, performances, workshops, conversations, and debates.
You will find a vast collection of high-tech objects, rotating exhibitions of many STEAM-based topics, exhibits about super interesting topics such as the history of artificial intelligence, holograms, and so much more! You can also enjoy the regular programs, events, and festivals including demonstrations by MIT faculty and students, guided gallery tours, workshops, hands-on activities, and the annual Cambridge Science Festival.
After your visit, you can enjoy Cambridge’s Central Square Cultural District restaurants, stores, parks, and homemade ice cream, all within walking distance.
